Too often Internet Marketers create a product or a service and they come up with dozens of great ideas to market that product or service. But these IMers forget one of the important rules to effective marketing. That rule is to market to just one person. In fact, the importance of marketing to one can not be overstated.
To create an effective marketing campaign you really need to decide exactly who you want to market to. You want to find out how to design your marketing campaign, what key points to hit, and eventually what it will take for people to take out there money and hand it over. The best way to do this is by marketing to one.
What you really want to do is crawl inside the mind of your typical potential client. What are his thoughts? What are his wants and needs? What will motivate him to become interested in what you’re offering and to eventually go from being a potential client to actually being a client?
You need to find out these answers. And the best way – really the only true way – of doing this is to market to that one person.
So actually sketch out what that one person looks like. Write down where he came from and where he’s going. Create a little story for him. Then crawl inside his head and begin answering the important questions, the questions that will help you design a marketing campaign.
Now, obviously you aren’t writing a work of fiction here. You need to make sure that the sketch you make of a person could really be a person. And you also need to make sure that there are millions of people just like this person in the world. If there isn’t, then you either need to change your audience or you need to design a new product or service.
Once you have everything done, then you can go ahead and create the marketing campaign and then you can launch it too. You aren’t actually marketing to one, you’re marketing to millions, but keeping just one person in mind will allow you to create a marketing campaign that will be personal to all your potential
clients. It will make people feel like you’re speaking directly to them.
The importance of marketing to one is that it often is the difference between you succeeding or you failing. It’s just that simple. If you want to have an effective marketing campaign then you better market to one.

Internet Marketing is a great way to make money. Some people turn to Internet Marketing (IM) to make some extra money while other people use Internet Marketing as their main source of income. There is a lot of money to be made and a lot of great times be to had. However, not everyday is going to be perfect. In fact, some days are going to be very difficult.
So here are three tips to get past a bad day with Internet Marketing:
The first tip to getting past a bad day with Internet Marketing is to plan for it. You should have a plan for your business no matter how small or large it may be, and part of this plan should be how you handle the bad days. What will you think? What will you do? How will you handle the situation, no matter what the situation might be? If you carefully think these questions through then you will be in much better shape when a bad day happens.
The second tip to get past a bad day with Internet Marketing is to make sure you use it as positive motivation. When that bad day begins to unfold, you will be left with two choices: Allow the bad day to cause you to walk away (for a day or longer) or to use that bad day to drive you to work harder and smarter. If you choose the former then you are allowing the bad day to win and actually making things worse. If you choose the latter then you will become better and actually make the bad day better.
Finally, you want to make sure that you learn from the bad day. Take a few minutes to understand what the cause of the bad day really is. Is it something that you could’ve avoided? Is it caused by a mistake you made with IM or is it caused by something else in your life? Understand what the true cause is and then try to come up with a solution so that you don’t have the same bad day again. In short, make sure you learn from the bad day so that you can become a smarter and stronger person from it.
No one wants to have a bad day. Yet bad days are inevitable, even when it comes to Internet Marketing. Three tips to get past a bad day with Internet Marketing are to plan for the bad day, use the bad day as motivation, and to learn from the bad day. If you do these three things then you can turn a negative situation into a positive experience.

One of the best ways to make money as an Internet Marketer is to create your own product and then market it. However, many people have trouble deciding on what product they should produce. Obviously you want your product to do well but too often it’s the fear of failure that stops people from even deciding on what
product to make. Well, to decide on the right product for you, there are really only two steps that have to be completed. You want to choose a product that will seemingly sell well and a product that you will be excited about.
Before you even decide on a product you obviously have to decide on a niche to work in. To choose a niche (if you don’t already have one) you want to choose something that you are interested in and enjoy and something that will fill a need for the public.
You want to enjoy the niche because that will make it easier for you to work within that niche and your passion and joy will shine through to your customers. But you also want to choose a niche that is popular with others. However, you don’t want there to be too much competition within that niche. Otherwise you’re setting yourself up for failure.
Once you have your niche all picked out then you can begin creating products within that niche. And the first thing you need to consider when deciding on which product to create is a product that will sell well. For this there are a couple ways to get help.
The first way to decide on a product is to watch the news and make a product based on what is happening in the world. For example, if a great natural disaster just occurred then you might want to write a book about how to prepare for a natural disaster. Another example would be if the jobless rate is soaring then you might want to make a product for how people can save money or how someone can get the job they want.
So you can pay attention to what’s happening in the world and choose to make products in response to that. And another way you can decide on a good product to make would be to see what types of products are selling well. If there is a certain diet that is popular then you might want to create a product that includes a
very similar diet. Or if you see that there is some other type of fad going on then you might want to tap into the popularity by making a product that is related to that fad.
Choosing the right product to create and market can and often does make all the difference with whether you are successful with Internet Marketing. When choosing a product you want to choose something within your niche that will sell well. To do this pay attention to what is happening in the news and what types of fads are popular and then choose your product accordingly.

You’ve probably heard about the current bestseller that’s called The Secret. It’s a book written by Rhonda Byrne. It’s all about how to succeed in both your personal and your professional life. Some form of this book has been around on the Internet for many years but it’s only come out as a physical book in the past couple of years.

Say that you want about The Secret and the various ways it’s been offered on the Internet and now in bookstores, but the main theme of the book really works. And while I would recommend that you definitely read the entire book, I am going to tell you briefly what the book is mainly about.
The main point of The Secret is that what you think is what will happen to you. In other words, if you send out positive thoughts then you will have positive things happen to you. On the other hand, if you send out negative thoughts then you will have negative things happen to you. So we all have the power to influence our futures by controlling what and how we think.
If you stop to think about this it makes sense and it has been proven to be right time and time again. How many people who are extremely successful have a negative outlook on the world? And how many people who are always being negative about everything actually become successful? The answer is none. No successful people have a negative outlook on life and no one with a negative outlook becomes successful.
But how can that be? Well, it has to do with “The Secret”. And it’s all about how you and everyone else can influence what happens in your life by simply changing your attitude.
For many people this is much easier said than done. It takes a lot of practice to stop how you’ve been thinking your entire life and to start thinking positive thoughts all the time. But over time, if you really concentrate on it, you will get better and you will learn to think positively.
To begin you want to change how you think in two ways.
The first way you can change your way of thinking is to wake-up each morning thinking that you will have a good day. Don’t let your sources of stress and your worries bring you down. Believe that you can make the day as good as possible. Sure, things might go wrong (and sometimes will) but promise yourself that you will make the best of the bad and that you will believe that things will turn out good.
The second way you want to change is by believing in yourself. Believe that you can succeed in both your personal and professional life. Believe that you are destined for great things. Because if you don’t believe in yourself, one thing’s for sure: No one else will believe in you either and then you certainly won’t succeed.
And that is the main point of the bestselling book, The Secret. Send out positive thoughts about yourself and your life and you will attract good things. Of course, there is much more to it and you should read the book to find out more. But know that if you can change the way you think and feel then you will be able to change your life too.
For the moment,
Duncan

Infoproducts are arguably the easiest products to create and sell online. Infoproducts are simply packages of information you sell and resell in a variety of formats. They can take up the forms of printed and electronic books, podcasts, newsletters, CD and DVD sets, as well as online and offline courses and seminars.
Benefits of Making Infoproducts Your Primary Source of Income
Low Capital Costs – Hard work represents almost 90% of your investment for infoproducts. You need to be diligent in researching, writing, and designing your infoproduct. If you are going to sell it in ebook or podcast format then there are no printing costs to be concerned about. If you are going to sell it in CD or DVD sets then you only need to have a stock of blank discs and cover materials ready.
Automated Distribution – If you are going to sell infoproducts in ebook or podcast format, you can use automated systems and have it operate round the clock. Once payment has been confirmed or received, the system will simply generate a copy of the file and send it to the email address provided by the buyer.
Infinite Supply – One of the best things about infoproducts is that you only have to work extremely hard for them just once and reap the efforts infinitely – or at least until there’s someone still willing to buy. All since copying files don’t cost you a cent, the proceeds you earn after a while represent 100% pure profit.
Improved Credibility – The ability to create a successful infoproduct is something that your resume would definitely need. It immediately impresses other people and can cause doors of opportunity to open for you.
4 Simple but Astoundingly Effective Ways to Market Your Infoproducts
Tip #1 Infoproducts must always have a “new” element to it to succeed. Self-inspiration and self-help books have been around for a long time so why has the Purpose-Driven Life been of Rick Warren become extremely successful? Simple: he used a new approach for inspiring readers to change for the better. He started his book by saying that the only way to help yourself is to realize that it’s not about you, but God. He probably clinched its success when he described his book as “anti self-help”.
You can do the same thing for your product. What’s the new element about your product? It can be about love, arguably the most talked-about topic in the world, but your infoproduct will still grab people’s attention if it introduces a new voice, perspective, issue, or angle.
But if there’s nothing new about your infoproduct then you’ve got a problem in your hands. You might need to go back to the drawing – or writing – board and redo your infoproduct all over.
Tip #2 Prove that you’re a definite authority in the subject matter. No one would have purchased the Rich Dad Poor Dad series if none of its readers believed that Robert Kiyosaki knows what he’s talking about. To market your infoproduct effectively, you need to show them proof that your words are worth reading.
You can do this in a number of ways. Firstly, don’t be ashamed in placing a detailed biography about yourself on your website – and yes, you do need one but more about that later. Your biography should include all your achievements in school and work. Highlight your degrees if you don’t have actual work experience or vice versa.
If you know people who are also considered authorities in the same subject matter, see if they’re willing to write a testimonial for you on your website. Be aware that they’ll probably ask the same thing in return.
Give carefully chosen individuals advance copies and make sure to relate on your website positive results they had after reading your work.
Tip #3 Create a website. Yes, you can always sell your infoproducts through affiliate marketing but it’s still best to have a place in the Internet that you can call home sweet home. This is where you provide them teasers and FAQ about your infoproducts.
Tip #4 Give them a taste. Let them know what to expect by offering free newsletters and articles. Provide excerpts and write related entries in blogs and forums. Nothing better will convince them than seeing with their own eyes just how helpful your infoproduct can be.
Thanks And Good Luck,
Duncan Chua
